Memodyne Ingredients List: 7 Label Lines Checked One by One
Quick answerThe Memodyne label prints seven lines per capsule: niacin 7.5 mg NE, calcium 18 mg, L-arginine 200 mg, L-arginine AKG 200 mg, L-citrulline HCl 100 mg, L-citrulline malate 100 mg and beta-alanine 40 mg. Every line has its own amount. There is no proprietary blend, and no study of the product exists.

What are the key facts about the Memodyne ingredients?
Key facts
- One serving is one capsule. A bottle holds 30 servings.
- Seven lines are printed, and each has its own amount. There is no proprietary blend.
- The five amino acid lines add up to 640 mg per capsule.
- The brand's own ingredient graphic names six items and leaves out beta-alanine. The label prints it, and the label wins.
- Other ingredients: hypromellose (vegetable capsule), vegetable stearate and silicon dioxide.
- Part of each salt form's weight is the carrier, so the pure amino acid is a little less than the printed figure.
- No study of Memodyne has been published.
How do you read the Memodyne ingredients list?
Start with the Supplement Facts panel on the bottle, not the brand graphic. The panel is the legal label. It shows the serving size, the amount of each line and the Daily Value where one exists. The bottle in your hand is the final word.
Here the serving is one capsule, and the bottle holds 30. Five lines show no Daily Value, because none has been set for those amino acids. Only niacin and calcium carry a percentage. Federal rules require each ingredient and its amount to be listed (21 CFR 101.36). Memodyne does that for all seven lines.
Below we check the seven lines one at a time. For each, we give what it is, the printed amount and how that compares with the research.
What are the 7 label lines at a glance?
| Line | Printed amount | Plain meaning |
|---|---|---|
| 1. L-Arginine (base) | 200 mg | Free-form arginine, an amino acid |
| 2. L-Arginine AKG 2:1 Extract | 200 mg | Arginine bound to alpha-ketoglutarate |
| 3. L-Citrulline HCl | 100 mg | Citrulline as a hydrochloride salt |
| 4. L-Citrulline Malate | 100 mg | Citrulline bound to malic acid |
| 5. Beta Alanine | 40 mg | An amino acid used in sports formulas |
| 6. Niacin | 7.5 mg NE (47% DV) | Vitamin B3 |
| 7. Calcium | 18 mg (1.5% DV) | As calcium carbonate |
What do the two arginine lines add up to?
The two arginine lines print 200 mg each, so 400 mg together. The body uses arginine to make nitric oxide, a gas that helps blood vessels relax (Schwedhelm et al., 2008). That is why arginine shows up in blood flow products.
The second line is bound to alpha-ketoglutarate, a carrier. Part of its 200 mg is the carrier, not arginine. So the true arginine total is a bit under 400 mg. The label does not say how much under.
For scale, blood pressure trials used 4 to 24 g a day. One small memory trial gave 1.66 g twice a day for 4 weeks (Mone et al., 2022). One capsule's 400 mg is about 12% of that 3.3 g daily memory-trial dose.
What do the two citrulline lines do?
Citrulline is an amino acid the kidneys turn into arginine. In healthy volunteers, citrulline by mouth raised blood arginine more efficiently than the same amount of arginine (Schwedhelm et al., 2008). Many blends pair the two for that reason.
Memodyne prints 100 mg as HCl and 100 mg as malate. Again, part of each weight is the salt partner. Studies of citrulline used gram doses (Khalaf et al., 2019), so 200 mg is a small fraction of what was tested.
Why is beta-alanine on the label?
The label does not say. Beta-alanine is best known from sports products, where studies used 4 to 6 g a day (Trexler et al., ISSN 2015). Memodyne prints 40 mg, about 1% of 4 g. At that size the well-known skin tingle is unlikely.
This is the line the brand graphic leaves out. The graphic names six items. The Supplement Facts panel prints seven. If you ever see a bottle with six lines, ask the order desk about it.
How much niacin and calcium does one capsule give?
Niacin is vitamin B3. One capsule lists 7.5 mg NE, printed as 47% of the Daily Value. Adults need about 14 to 16 mg NE a day, so that is roughly half a day's need. The upper limit from supplements is 35 mg a day (NIH ODS, Niacin).
Calcium is listed at 18 mg, as calcium carbonate, which is 1.5% of the Daily Value. Adults need 1,000 to 1,200 mg a day (NIH ODS, Calcium). So the calcium line is under 2% of a day's need and is unlikely to matter for your bones.
What else is in the capsule?
Three other ingredients are printed under the panel: hypromellose, which is the vegetable capsule shell, vegetable stearate and silicon dioxide. These are common in capsule products. The label does not say whether the niacin is nicotinic acid or niacinamide.
The brand does not publish a lab certificate. Our files hold a lot reference, MEM-26/ME-4547, and a certificate reference, MEM-4547-26-ME, but neither links to a report anyone can read. The factory is not named.
Who should ask a doctor before taking these ingredients?
Arginine and citrulline may lower blood pressure and add to the effect of blood pressure drugs, nitrates and ED pills (Mayo Clinic, L-arginine). After a heart attack, one arginine trial found no benefit and more deaths in the arginine group (Schulman et al., JAMA 2006). The label adds its own caution for pregnancy, nursing, anyone under 18 and anyone with a known medical condition.
Ask first
Bring the bottle to your doctor or pharmacist if you take any blood pressure medicine, a nitrate or an ED pill. Add up niacin from any multivitamin or B-complex you already take.
Frequently asked questions
What are the ingredients in Memodyne?
L-arginine (base) 200 mg, L-arginine AKG 2:1 extract 200 mg, L-citrulline HCl 100 mg, L-citrulline malate 100 mg, beta-alanine 40 mg, niacin 7.5 mg NE and calcium 18 mg per capsule. The capsule is hypromellose, with vegetable stearate and silicon dioxide.
Does Memodyne have a proprietary blend?
No. Every line on the Supplement Facts panel shows its own amount, so you can see what one capsule holds.
How much L-arginine is in Memodyne?
The label prints 400 mg in two forms, 200 mg of base and 200 mg of AKG. Part of the AKG line is the carrier, so the pure arginine is a little under 400 mg.
Why does the brand's ingredient picture show only six items?
The graphic leaves out beta-alanine. The Supplement Facts panel prints it at 40 mg, and when the two disagree the label is the one to trust.
Is there caffeine, sugar or gelatin in Memodyne?
The label lists none of them. The other ingredients are hypromellose, vegetable stearate and silicon dioxide.
Are the Memodyne ingredients proven to help memory?
No. No study of Memodyne has been published, and the doses are small next to the doses used in research.
Our view
Our view is that the label is the best thing about Memodyne. It is complete, it has no hidden blend and you can check it against the bottle. That is real transparency, and many memory products do not offer it.
The weak point is the dose. Every amino acid line is small next to the amounts researchers tested, and no one has tested this capsule. Read the label as a list of common ingredients in small amounts, and decide with your doctor if it fits you.
