Memodyne Capsules, Pills, Gummies or Drops? 5 Checks on the Form

Written by the Memodyne editorial team · Medically reviewed by Dr. James Bateman III, MD, MPH, Physician · Reviewed · Last updated · 6 min read

Quick answerMemodyne is a capsule. The front label reads 30 Capsules and Dietary Supplement, and the shell is hypromellose, a vegetable material. None of our sources describes a gummy, a drop or a liquid. If a page sells another form under this name, treat it as unverified and compare it with the label.

Why do people ask about pills, gummies and drops?

Search boxes fill in the words for you. Type the product name and you may see capsules, pills, gummies and drops offered as endings. Each word suggests a different product, and each one changes how you take it and what you pay.

The word “pill” is loose. People use it for any small thing they swallow. A capsule is one kind of pill, with a shell that holds a powder. A gummy is a chewable candy-style form. Drops are a liquid you measure.

This guide sticks to what the label and the sales page show. Five checks follow, and each one ends with a rule you can apply to any listing.

The list

What are the 5 checks on the form?

  1. 01

    Read the front panel

The words 30 Capsules settle the form.

  2. 02

    Look at the shell

    Hypromellose, a plant-based cellulose.

  3. 03

    Search for other forms

    None appears in our sources.

  4. 04

    Check how it is taken

A full glass of water, once a day.

  5. 05

Treat a different form as a different product

Its label would have to say so.

Check 1

What does the front panel say about the form?

The front panel prints three lines. The first is “Cognitive Support Formula*”. The second shows the words Focus, Clarity and Energy. The third reads “30 Capsules · Dietary Supplement”.

The Supplement Facts panel agrees. It gives the serving size as 1 capsule and the servings per container as 30. The word capsule appears in the directions too: take one (1) capsule daily with an 8 oz glass of water.

Everything on the label points to one form. That is the first test any listing must pass. If a page uses a photo of a different container, a different count or a different unit, it is not describing this label.

Check 2

What is the shell made of?

The label lists hypromellose as the vegetable capsule. Hypromellose is a plant-based cellulose material, used in place of gelatin. Two more items sit under the panel: vegetable stearate, which helps the powder flow, and silicon dioxide, which keeps it dry and loose.

Other ingredients printed under the Supplement Facts panel.
ItemJobPlain meaning
Hypromellose (vegetable capsule)The shellA plant-based cellulose shell
Vegetable stearateFlow aidHelps powder move through the filling machine
Silicon dioxideAnti-caking agentKeeps the powder from clumping

The label lists no sugar, no gelatin, no dyes and no caffeine. It carries no vegan or vegetarian seal, so if that matters to you, ask the order desk at +1 (302) 200-3480 before you buy.

Check 3

Is there a gummy, a drop or a liquid version?

None of our sources describes one. The label, the brand sales page and our product file all point to a capsule. We found no gummy, no drops, no powder and no liquid.

Absence in our sources is not proof that no such product exists anywhere. It does mean we cannot vouch for one. A page that offers Memodyne gummies or Memodyne drops asks you to trust a label we have never seen.

A caution about look-alike pages

Two websites that use the product name were flagged by MalwareTips as risky. Neither one is where our order buttons lead. A page that sells a form we cannot find on the label deserves extra care.

Our look-alike websites article explains how to test the address and the checkout.

Check 4

How do you take a capsule, and what is not published?

Swallow one capsule with an 8 oz glass of water. The label suggests doing it 20 to 30 minutes before a meal, or as your healthcare professional directs. A standard drinking glass holds about that much.

Some things are missing. The capsule’s size, color and taste are not published. The label does not say whether the capsule may be opened or chewed, so do not guess. If swallowing is hard, ask a pharmacist before you change anything.

Capsule habits that match the label

  • One capsule, once a day, never two.
  • A full glass of water with it.
  • Keep it in the original bottle so the label stays with it.
  • Keep it cool and dry, away from heat and light.
Check 5

What would a different form change?

Everything that follows from the label. A gummy or a liquid would need its own Supplement Facts panel, its own serving size and its own list of other ingredients. The amounts per serving could not be assumed to match the capsule.

That is why we do not guess at an “equivalent”. Compare any other form of any product, from any brand, line by line. Check the serving size, the amounts and the other ingredients. If you cannot read a panel, you cannot compare.

What is in it

What does one capsule hold?

Seven lines, each with its own amount: niacin 7.5 mg NE, calcium 18 mg, L-arginine 200 mg, L-arginine AKG 200 mg, L-citrulline HCl 100 mg, L-citrulline malate 100 mg and beta-alanine 40 mg. There is no proprietary blend.

The amino acid lines add up to 640 mg a capsule. The amounts are small next to the doses used in studies, and no study of Memodyne has been published.

Safety

Does the form change who should ask a doctor first?

No. The cautions follow the ingredients. Blood pressure drugs, nitrates and ED pills can stack with arginine and citrulline, so a pharmacist is a good first stop (Mayo Clinic, L-arginine). A past heart attack calls for a talk with a cardiologist (Schulman et al., JAMA 2006).

Label caution

Pregnant or nursing mothers, anyone under 18 and anyone with a known medical condition should consult a physician before using this or any dietary supplement.

Our view

Our view

Our view: this question has a short answer. Memodyne is a capsule, the shell is plant-based and the label says so in plain print. Anything else asks you to believe a label that nobody has shown us.

Use the form as a quick filter. If the count, the shell or the panel does not match, stop and call the order desk before you pay or swallow anything.
